I have been doing quite a bit of mastering work lately for Nervous Records. This is one of their forthcoming releases which is now available on promo.
Byron Stingily had several hit records in the 1980s and 1990s as the lead singer of Ten City.[2] As a solo artist, he had his biggest success on the US Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart, where he hit No. 1 three times. In 1997 he spent a week in the top spot with "Get Up (Everybody)" where he sampled Sylvester's "Dance (Disco Heat)", then hit No. 1 again in 1998 with a remake of Sylvester's "You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)", produced by Damien Mendis and Stuart Bradbury. "That's the Way Love Is," a No. 1 dance hit in 1989 for Ten City, brought him to No. 1 again in 1999 when he re-recorded it on his own. Some of his recent singles have been released on the UK-based record label Defected Records. Masters at Work (MAW) is the house-garage production and remix team of "Little" Louie Vega and Kenny "Dope" Gonzalez. They first worked together using the name in 1990. MAW has a history as remixers, having reproduced tracks for various acts both inside and outside the world of dance music. Some of the artists remixed by the two producers include Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson.Madonna, Donna Summer, Aaliyah, Gus Gus, Jody Watley, Jamiroquai, Earth Wind & Fire, and Stephanie Mills. Boys Noize is a German electronic music producer and DJ. It is similar to the name of his record label, Boysnoize Records, which he established in 2005. Boys Noize has remixed a number of other artist's work, including Snoop Dogg and Depeche Mode. Byron Stingily - Flying High - Produced by Masters At Work (Boys Noize Rework). Nervous Records, King Street Sounds & Blockhead Recordings
I have been working this week with a few record labels in the US who regularly top the charts with some of the biggest names in Dance Music.
Nervous Records is one of the longest standing independent record labels in the US founded back in 1991. Noted for early productions by Armand Van Helden, Masters At Work, Paul Van Dyk and Josh Wink. I mastered a track for Nervous Records "Thanks for doing this. We checked it out and it does indeed sound like a good master." Nervous then sent me another 4 tracks to master. Born in 1993 King Street Sounds has established itself as one of the finest and most respected labels releasing dance music today. "Thank you, the mastering sounds good and we will use it for the release. We will be in touch about future work." Blockhead Recordings have been releasing all things House Music since 2003 "This sounds great!"

Online Mastering: Twist Helix - Little Buildings
Twist Helix are a three piece electronic alt-pop band from Newcastle. Their forthcoming new single 'Little Buildings' is inspired by the closure of fringe music and art spaces in their local area. The video is filmed at the bands rehearsal space The Little Buildings in Ouseburn Valley. Ouseburn is to be the name of their forthcoming album.
The song was inspired by a rehearsal cut short by noise complaints, and its lyrics voice their disgust in the hypocrisy of redeveloping an area through culture only to force the music and arts venues out when an area becomes more economically appealing.
